So my dog is just recently starting throwing up almost everyday at night. We just recently change his from this natural thing to kibbles and bits. With the kibbles and bits, we mix some plain dog food from Pathmark Brand. We feed him about to bowls a day and alittle below half way to the bowl we put the dog food. My dog is a 2 year old black pug named whitey?

Please Help!!!!!!!!!

When did you switch his food? Dogs stomachs are VERY sensitive to any new changes. Usually if you are trying to switch foods, the route you need to take it mix in 1/3 of the new food with the remainder being the old food. After 2 or 3 days increase this to 1/2 old 1/2 new. After about a week or 2 your dog should be able to handle the full food. If after that course your dog is stil throwing up I would bring him into the vet, it is possible that he may be allergic to the kibbles (since it has alot of fillers)

You had better check to see if it is one of the foods that is on the national recall list. Many of the major dog food brands have been put on recall due to dogs becoming ill from something in the food. Fortunately it is only for the wet foods and not the dry ones. I would suggest that you take your dog to the vet as soon as possible and have it checked to make sure that everything is okay with it. It very well could just turn out that your dog got into something it shouldn't have but just to be on the safe side you should get it checked out. Good Luck

Wow, You mentioned Kibbles and bits. I got a dog from some people that where also feeding him Kibbles abd bits, and I noticed (before I took the dog) that the dog had dirrera by looking in the yard. When I took the dog I fed him a diffrent dog food (both wet and dry) and he has never had a problem since.
My suggestion, get your dog away from kibbles and bits ASAP!

There is probably something in the food that your dog does not like. Do an experiment. Go out and get another type of dog food and try feeding him that for a few days. If he continues to throw up, then I would take him to the vet because he may have a problem inside of him.

Switch his food back. I just heard something on the news about dogs and cats dying b/c of some of the food they were eating and i do know that kibbles and bits was on list on infected food. I hope your dog will get better and keep an eye on him.
