I bought an excersise bike at the start of Feb. I have since been trying to squeese in 90 minutes a day of excersise (45 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the evening). For about two days a week I can only do 45 minutes. When I started this I weighted about 11.8 - 11.10 stones. Now I weigh about 11.3 stones. Is this normal, or is my weight loss going really slow. I feel like giving up.

maybe some of the fat is turing into muscle..cos muscle is heavier than fat...have u noticed ur body becoming more muscular perhaps?
juat a thought..hope it helps!!
and maybe varying the tims...cos ur body may have become acustomed to exercising at the same time everyday..and not really being pushed? so try varying the times as well...and see how that works out for u..whatever ever u do..good luck!!

Your weight loss sounds pretty good to me given that you are only exercising. You haven't mentioned any change to your eating habits. Remember you will be building up muscle tissue which is denser than fat. The scales aren't the most important guideline. Your mirror, your clothes, your body will tell you more and let's face it, if you look slim, and can fit into the clothes you'd like to wear, who cares what the scales say!

Don't worry about getting too muscular, that is unlikely to happen unless you are training with weights.

Good luck.

don't give up, remember you are trying to loss mass not weight, lots of exercise will convert some fat into muscle, muscle is denser than fat, so weighs a little more, So while you are getting fitter , the amount of weight you think you are loosing, might not match the amount of fat you have lost.

I hope that makes sense. Good luck

This is totally normal. You are losing some fat, but you are also gaining muscle weight, and muscle weighs considerably more than fat. Keep goig and you will notice more weight loss. 45 minutes is EXCELLENT. Just do what you can and keep going. I admire your dedication.

Don't give up. It takes time to put on weight and it'll take time to lose it. Keep exercising and watch what you eat. If you're consistent the weight loss will continue. For now, it takes time for your body to adjust to the change in your activity level.

i dont know the conversion from stones to pounds, but maybe you are at a weight that is ideal for your body type. if you have genes that make you fat, your never gonna be a really skinny person. if you are healthy and the exercise makes you feell good, then be glad for yourself. if you have this unattainable picture in your head of how you want to look, then your never gonna be happy.

eat right, exercise, and be happy with who you are.

Make sure you're not using exercise as an excuse to eat more! You need to cut back on calories, too. Eliminate the junk food or packaged or processed foodes. Eat whole grains and fresh fruits and vegetables as close to their natural state as possible and you can't go wrong.

You are ok. To get all the extra fat off. I would just do 30 minutes in the afternoon and 30 in the night. What are you working on the get healthier? It depends! :-)
