Does anyone practise yoga whats it all about and does it help anxiety disorders?

yes.ive practiced yoga, daily for many years now.yoga is perfect for balancing mind and body.the deep breathing which accompanies each pose is very calming, and great for anxiety.the poses themselves tone and strengthen your body, aswell as making you more flexible.if you cant find a local class to attend, try looking for a dvd that you can use to teach yourself.i swear by yoga for its health benefits,it really is fantastic.good luck.

yes yoga isextremely effective it grows internnal power of yours i practise it toremain fit mentally and physically actually yoga looks like exercise but it is different from it the basic difference is that in exercise we loose our energy but in yoga wegain energy yoga basically consists of many things like yogasana(which is basically exercise type)the prayanam in whichwe practise some special brething tricks the dhyana where we concentrate on a point but they should be done under guidance of a trainer yoga means "method" to reach to god it was used by old saints in india to reach to god mmanish_gaur@yahoo.com

It is good for you.
You learn to stretch your muscles and to keep your heart rate down and you mind at ease.
It is not "panacea" or miraculous, but it will help to relax your nervous system and mind if done properly and regularly.

Give it a try and see for yourself.

yes i do it helps a lot.you can improve u r concentration;you can lose u r weight ; it also helps in anxiety disorders. it will be better if u watch the "aastha" channel.

sorry i just cant get into them positions i think i would seriously damage myself or might even get stuck .....i think yoga might help you also try acupuncture
