im debating over a dach hund puppy or a chihuahua. i still leaning more towards a chihuahua, but i need help. which is cheaper? more loyal? idk, here r some pics of a chihuahua and a dach hund, just in case u dont know which is which, then u can help me anyway, :-)

I have had both breeds, they are both about the same price...the dachshund has alot better disposition and easier to train, but my vet said they can injure their backs when jumping from cars, furniture, beds, arms, etc., even though I had mine for 15 years & nothing happened...my chihuahua was very loving to me but didn't like anyone else, was temperamental, nippy and barked alot.

take dach hund loyal smart nice with the other house pets playfull but not hyghper.... listen and obay orders .... and he will obsorbe early training better than chihauhua and if it was mall when U gonna mate him after the puppys born U will make at least $1200
trust me i been raising all kind of dogs since 1989
beside they dont need that much medical attention like the chihuahua..... and the most important thing they are not noisy like chihauhua
go get that dach hund and enjoy

I would prefer a dach hund. Chihuahua is just too small to be noticed.

Chihuahua's have lots of hip problems. I don't know exactly the health concerns of a dachshund. Your healthiest (and cheapest) choice would probably be a dachshund.

I've had 4 Daschunds. They pee on the floor, especially when a stranger trys to pet them. They are better as an outdoor dog. They are not very smart. They are "major" hunters. They will be hunting everything including bugs. They are fearless of any other animal, regardless of size. The males don't like other people too much.
They are very lovable and cute. They always smile at you and try to lick you in your mouth.
It's ok to call them a weenie dog... they don't mind.

Chihuahuas are usually louder, but dachunds and any other dog with a long back are at a greater risk of expiriancing back related disieses. I think that they are both loyal dogs.

A chihuahua is more loyal and loving. I have 5 Chihuahua dogs and they are the most loving dogs that I ever owned. Please feel free to contact me if you have any doubts.

Get the weeny dog, Chahuahuas are very loyal but much more expensive for vet bills and they seem to die much sooner

Before deciding on the breed you should see the pupppies and you will know if you see the one you fall in love with. Have a look at both and you will know which you want.

chihuahuas shake alot for no reason and have alot of dumbass health problems. they suck.
