I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

This has nothing to do with immigration. ..Your height would hurt you more than excess weight. Most models are 5`9 and taller. I'm 5`4 and weigh 118lbs ,I'm neither fat nor skinny. I'm healthy and in good shape. Rail thin is out,it looks too anorexic and is a very bad role model for younger girls to try to emulate. Stay healthy ,and the best diet is exercise and the best one is to take your two hands place them on the dinner table and push yourself away from it. That works every time ..

Well you actually are a little under-weight ! But, you do want to lose weight. The only way you can actually lose weight is change your eating habits and exercise more.
* Exercise at least an hour or more a day
*Drink ONLY water, drink water when you get hungry it will fill you up
*Get a food diary and eat about 1200 calories a day NO LESS than 1000.
*Also eat lots of fiber (It will make you poop).
-By followinqg this you can lose up to about 2 lbs. a week
you can lose 16 lbs. in 2 months or more.
*Since you are slim your metabolism is quicker causing you to lose more .. maybe about 20 lbs.

Exercise everyday like jogging around the block
Skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
Dont eat until you're full
Eat fruits at night if your hungry.
Drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.

don't loose wieght. tons of fasion models are way too skinny and anorexic! then kids and teens look up to them and go anorexic too and some of them even die. If you feel the need of loosing weight than excercise more. you probably won't loose number weight (because you are already a healthy weight/skinny) but you will loose excess fat and gain muscle and it will look like you slimmed down.
That is the type of role model young ppl need. They need to see that being healthy doesn't mean not eating, it means excerising and choosing the right foods.

PS many agencies are trying to get rid of the anorexic model so yes. they will accept you and will like you.

I don't call what you say above fat- especially if your face is good enough to be a model, you are just fine!

YoU THINK YOU're FAT????? I'm 5'2 and I'm 150 pounds. So, don't even start. You're just the right size for one hundred twenty pounds. If you're that upset about your wait then just start becoming vegetarian. LOL.. I think you'd be a great model. Just beleive in yourself and you may become AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL. GOOD LUCK!

Your weight is fine. As for modelling, you don't say what kind. If you mean fashion model, you're too short, most are well over 5' 9".

I'f adhered to, the South Beach Diet has shown to be effective for most non-medical weight issues. Combined with a reasonable exercise program, you should be able to reach a healthy weight --- however, most models are well under a healthy weight.

hey you are not fat! I think u don't have to be skinny to be a model. i guess you should do some sports or dance if you wanna shape up more. but don't do anything crazy that makes you go anorexic!
