Your metabolism may still be high.

If I wanted to gain weight and be healthy, I would concentrate on eating healthier fats, complex carbs and foods high in protein. Just like if I was trying to lose weights but in higher quanitities. No reason not to eat healthy even when trying to pack on the pounds. For healthy fats try nuts and avocados, For protein and health fats try salmon. Stay away from unhealthy trans-fats. Unsaturated fats are the healthiest.

Monounsaturated Fatty Acids (MUFA) are found mainly in vegetable oils, nuts, seeds and some plant foods. They are liquid at room temperature.

Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids (PUFA) are found mainly in vegetable oils, fish and seafood. They are liquid or soft at room temperature. Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids are types of PUFA and are considered essential fatty acids because our bodies cannot make them, thus they must be obtained through the diet.

You do not mention if you want this weight to be fat or muscle, but I would still exercise and be active. And just like losing weight, do not try to gain too much too quickly.

Thats sounds sorta like me. I am naturally skinny but I cannot for the life of me gain weight so if I were you I would eat fatty foods and relax and become lazy untill you gain all the weight that you want and then go back to your usual routine or just eat some more stuff just stay away from Hydrogenated oils because they clog your heart!

Eat nuts!!! They are excellent for you, contain protein, and allow you to consume a lot of (healthy) calories without feeling too full.
