because you got attached to the person, you probably said you loved them and loves comes from the heart.. when it doesnt work out your heart feels like its broken in two.. its a really bad feeling

Because when a person puts allot of effort into a relationship, and then it doesn't work, it hurts.
Anything a person puts effort into if it is to study for a test, and they worked very hard to get an A then they are marked a B, or C. It hurts..
It goes for everything in life, the more effort you put into something if it doesn't work out, or it fails less than you expected the bigger the hurt,

When someone loves you, or you love them, you give all of yourself to them. When "love doesnt work", its as if that person says all of you isnt good enough for me. Then you wonder, did this person ever truly love me at all. When all you are, all you encompass is seen as not good enough, it HAS to hurt. It hurts some people to get a bad grade, and thats only part of them. But love in itself sweety, it always works. Its the relationship that fails. Love cant not work (I know, great english). Simply because you gave your all, and thats all anyone can expect. Ever heard the expression it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all?? Its about giving yourself and of yourself, acceptance is really just a perk of love. Love is sacrifice and a beautiful thing. Even the bible says, "For God so loved the world, that HE gave his only begotten son, that we may have everlasting life." It wasnt about Him being accepted by us, it was His love for us. The act within itself is what made it all worth it. Your love is special. Love everyone who needs or wants it and do it whole heartedly. And know that its not about who loves you back, its about you knowing that you gave all of yourself and thats all you can give. If thats not good enough for some, then thats too bad for them, its their loss.

Love is a two way street you may love her but if she does not love you don;t waist your time there someone out there in the world that is just wating to kiss your feet she loves you so much change your geographical location women have differant attitudes towards love maby that what u need .yes love hurts when only one side is doing all the work just remember to have love be Loving. God is love he made you remember.

You gave a part of yourself to someone...and they are telling you they don't want it.....
A Wow in the hurt area. The physical biochemicals kick in that make us feel sick to the stomach and actually hurt in the heart area. Med. is now aware this is real - listen to the tv
ads for depression....And our mind helps to keep that hurt going until we get our feelings toward the situation under control.

because u can't accept the truth. u can't accept that girl don't love u too. if u can accept that i think it still hurt but not too hurt. so after this if u fall in love dont give whole ur heart to them,just half ok.

there's a biological answer for this:
when we meet someone who is our ideal...
chemical processes start taking place in our brain.
our bodies produce chemicals called phenylethylamines which flood our brains to give us that wonderful ..
i'm in love feeling...
when the one we love is no longer there..our brains stop producing the large ammounts of phenylethylamines..
and we go through a withdrawl of sorts....
that's the sadness when a love relationship ends.
the poetic emotional answer is that you fell in love...and love was not returned ..your heart was broken..

because we invest a lot of emotions when we fall in love and when it goes wrong for whateva reason it does hurt

huh????? love "works"???? love is just a word used to create a feeling of need and want. if you are not needed or wanted thats when love don't "WORK" if thats the case forget it and move on. hard cold truth
