If you are a college student it is a lot cheaper to buy the whole office program at the bookstore than a computer store. (Your talking $15 compared to $200). Before you buy, go to Microsoft.com, the security and updates and try to restore the program so that it's free. If that doesn't work, they run some free 30 day trials on there sometimes which you can download. That will at least give you some time to save up. You can buy at any computer store or office store (like Staples, Office Depot) and probably Wal-Mart. You may even talk to the company which restored your computer, they may load it back on for free.

These programs are usually provided on a separate disc included when you purchase your computer. If you don't have this disc, then you can purchase a copy of Microsoft Office from a computer store or order it online.
Alternatively, you could also download and try one of the free office application programs available such as OpenOffice which provide much of the functionality of Microsoft Office. OpenOffice is available for download at http://www.openoffice.org/

If you no longer have the original Microsoft Office disc which has Word on it, then you can either buy it at a shop or online (egs Microsoft's own shop or Amazon) or pay to download it from Microsoft's site.

If you don't have the MS disks, try Open Office (free download) for an almost identical office suite to Microsoft's own Office. Fully compatible.
Hope that helps.

You could do either.
Download it from Staples http://www.staples.com/sbd/cre/marketing/microsoft/easytech.html or have it installed somewhere like PCWorld.
This will cost you a fair amount of money.
A cheaper [and much better] alternative is OpenOffice, an entire office you can download and use for free which is at least as good as Microsoft Office: http://www.openoffice.org/
Hope that helps!

There is a free Word Reader form the microsoft website but I wouldn't recommend it.
Check out OpenOffice.org, they have all the programs you are familiar with but the software is absolutely free.

word Processor has much less helpful aspects, flow to the microsoft web site to envision in case you're able to purchase place of work word seperately inspite of the undeniable fact that it would be greater effective to get a kit the place you get the different place of work courses as nicely

If it was an older version, Google UK for “Microsoft Word OEM”. You might find reasonably priced CDs.
