I met this guy once before and he asked me out. I said yes to meeting hin next week for coffee. But Im very nervous maybe its because its been a long time since I had gone out for a date. But mostly Im scared of the way he looks at me, he looked straight into my eyes and was staring at my face while we were talking. I must admit he is a very attractive man .. Im worried that when I meet him that my heart would melt before his.. Should I even bother to meet this man.. Im 31 years old he is 36 years old

Please try and not be negative, this is a nice thing that is happening, someone has obviously betrayed or hurt you, think about being friends and see what happens from there, don't put any pressure on yourself and remember he asked you out, he finds you attractive, he likes you.

YES!! You should go!! The way he looks at you is called maturity. He's paying attention to you not to what you have to offer. Go have coffee. Enjoy the way he listens to you. Don't be so scared. Go with the flow and hey if it helps out...come clean with him later. Tell him you're nervous. That's the nice thing about dating when you're older.....both sides are way more mature.

maybe you should suggest a group dat insted, like he brings some of his friends and you bring some of yours and go meet at a club or pub for a game of pool, you will feel more comfy around your friends.

The worst that can happen is that you get a free dinner. Unless you got a better offer, why not?
