Is it polite to accept when your date offers to buy a drink for you, or is it politer to pay yourself? Either way I feel like I'm being rude!

Yes, its fine to let him buy you a drink. Guys are guys, you see - they like to be in charge , so if he offers don't decline it. - But treat him once in a while - it'll make you (and him) feel nice.

If the guy offers to buy you a drink or drinks, then accept it. Think of it as a gift, if it really bothers you then you could offer to him a drink next time.

wow, so many people with the date rape warnings...great, if you want to be scared the whole time you're out.
i know its a real threat but lets face it, as long as you are in control of how you are feeling you'll be fine.
back to the question.
its fine to let him buy your drinks, but make sure you offer. never go out without enough in your purse to pay your way. but hope that you dont have to, if the guy has asked you out, he should pay. but it would be nice to perhaps buy one drink? if he'll let you. my fella wont. but all guys are different. if he treats you to a meal offer to cook next time.
dont get drunk and have a damn good time.

Well its a good thing that she always tells you the truth but by her dirty unrespectful actions, you can tell that she's probably not serious about your relationship and is just a girl looking for fun. She probably doesn't know how serious and how disrespected you feel about her dancing and doing other stuff with guys so you should really talk to her like a one on one conversation. I understand you already told her but just try again. A girl with a boyfriend really shouldn't act like that with other men. If she still doesn't stop, maybe you should dump her, depending on how disrespected you feel.

On the first date i pretty much always insist on paying for everything, especially if i really like the girl. If you stick with it you can always buy the guy a drink on a subsequent date.

Of course let your date buy you drinks but also at one stage you should get a round in yourself just to show you arent out with your date just for money

Unless you have made other arrangements, when someone asks you out, they pay.
You are EXPECTED to repay the debt in some way. Some men expect sex, some really don't expect anything, but if you are cultured and classy you will repay dates, with dinners at home, you paying for a date occasionally, or something along those lines.....I won't even go into the sex thing, as you obviously aren't a ......... and they pay for everything with sex.

By all means, let him pay if he wants to just make sure you can see the drink the whole time; you want to be able to remember the whole night.
