im asking cuz i want to sneak in a camcorder into a concert but they might wand us and also piercings dont set them off arnt those metal to?

iv taken cameras and camcorders into concerts before but i heard this place might wand before you go in so im asking would a regular camcorder set it off

Don't do it. Not because you won't be able to get it through the metal detector (which you probably won't), but if your camera's small enough to go by undetected, it probably means it's not super high quality. What does a concert have? Low-light and flashing lights and loud music. The worst possible conditions for any kind of camera and mic. So even if you get it through, all you're gonna get is probably nothing you'd want to sit down and watch (or listen to) later. Hope this helps!

Do you mean-- when you steal it from the store? or when you go thru a metal detector at a concert?
Either way-- doesn't sound like a very bright idea. Put it out of your head.

Is your camcorder made with any metal in it? Guess what, it will set off a metal detector.

yeah... coz they have metal in them. But if you are trying to get it through airport, try to pack it securely in your cargo luggage. They will not be checking it so thoroughly. If you are taking it in your hand bag, then it is a pretty bad idea..
