taken...loneliness is horrible and i hate it when people say they want to leave thier options open, thats just rediculous. i mean don't rush into a relationship but if you really like someone don't stay single and still like them but just to keep your options open, i would find that hurtful. I love the feeling of security, love , the best feeling in the world being with someone you like or love so much. Its beautiful

Single, seriously! When I was single, I had freedom to come and go as I liked, no one asking me where I was, even though I am never up to anything I shouldn't be! Freedom with my finances to spend my money however I wanted, now I make the most and hmmmm never seem to have any money anymore! Had a house that stayed clean all of the time, without having to constantly run around cleaning it. Married, no freedom anymore, house only stays clean because I am always picking up after the lazy butt in the house, and always broke. Being single is so much better than being married! I miss my independence.

Single. Why? Less drama. I love to travel (and my work enables me to do so) and thus I never have to worry about having someone whine, *****, moan about me not spending enough time with them and so forth due to being away from home due to work for two to three weeks at a time. When I go away from home to work, all I miss is my bed at home and my cat and I can deal with that... thus I am not whinging, bitching, moaning about how I miss my partner. It's less stress. I can partake of my interests without having to worry what my partner may think and so forth. I don't have to compromise with myself. I love the freedom and independance. If I get lonely, I go visit and hang out with friends and acquaintences (or go to work even).
In the end, I have chosen to be single for years now. At the same time, due to being HAPPILY single, I know I don't NEED a partner. I wouldn't mind and having someone to share my life journey with just like any other human .... in the end, I don't need that as I can still share my life journey with my friends.........................................and have someone 'on the side' to fulfil my sexual needs without being in a committed relationship (which I do have and it is working good).

Definitely single. I don't want to be thought of as belonging to somebody. My sense of independence is the most important thing in the world to me.

I like being single because you only have to worry about yourself. Being with someone you have to worry about making someone else happy and not hurting their feelings, obilgations, etc. I do love my bf though and even though it is rough being in a relationship I would have it no other way.

i like being involved, having someone that you can shae everything with is amazing. someone who you know will be there behind you whenever you need it. Someone that you can call at all hours of the night, and there will be no hard feelings.
