In order to lose weight anywhere, you need to exercise and watch what you eat.

If you don't belong to a gym, I would suggest joining one. The YMCA is a great alternative. Once you join, set up a one time meeting w/a fitness trainer. They will access you and show you how to use the weight machines and give you a routine to follow. There are specific machines at gyms for your hips/thighs. Plus different free weight alternatives.

Cardio is another area you need to get into. If you don't run, try walking first. Lucky for you that spring is almost here. Try a cardio kickboxing class or a step class at the gym. I do the cardio kickboxing and love it!

Drink tons of water.

You can't spot reduce. Weight is lost all over. You will have to do at least 30 minutes of cardio every day as well as toning exercises. Go on-line to check out some exercises for hips and thighs (technically you should be working your entire body) or go to your local library and look for some books on exercises for lower body.

Exercise regularly, have a regular and brisk walk especially in the early morning hours covering a distance of not less than 5 KM (2.5 KM one way). Take regular and controlled diet with lots of salads, fruits and green leafy vegetables. Veg diet is advisable but if you are a non-veg then avoid red meet (mutton). Take less of oil and fat (ghee, butter etc).

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

hi stay remote from fried issues. Fried issues are an absolute no-no. The greater fried issues which you stay away from, the lesser weight you will benefit. Fried issues are called so because of the fact they're fried in oil or fat. and notwithstanding if the exterior oil is drained away, there remains a marvelous type of hidden oil in it so stay remote from it.
