Old DOS game, can't hear sound....?

Question

I've installed 'Simon the sorcerer" and can play it on Scumm/VM on Windows XP. The in-game sounds work(Music, soudn-effects) but there's no voice and no subtitles....I think it has something to do with the game being in german...what can I do?

whatever the language it is u can't do anything about it it's a dos
game
the whole reason of that is the sounds playing version is too old 4 XP so u can't make the sounds up
it need a programe to show the sounds but i don't think u can find it now coz it's not on the internet!!
