My cat Napoleon is a handsome, cute, tiger like cat. He's almost a year old, and he is constantly humping my legs whenever they're under the blanket (Maybe he thinks its a female cause of the fur like material?) Anyways, a couple people at work, and some family members want kittens. So I took him to my mothers house who has female cat, in heat, but yet he can't get laid. He just gets beat up, and he doesn't fight back. The lady that lives in the apartment upstairs also has a female cat in heat, but when I picked him up the next day, she told me he got his roughed up pretty bad, and he wouldn't fight back. Why is my cat such a sissy?

Woah, poster #3... sorry you got upset, and my place smells very good in case you were worried. Also why are you so angry at me for wanting to give the potential kittens a place to LIVE? Don't blame me for the kittens that are put to sleep. Its not my fault the human society picks up naturally born kittens and to puts them to sleep. They should let them live in the wild, the way god created them to live. Thats why they have claws, and hide their crap in the dirt from different predators.

Female cats have their preferences. Even when several male cats are after a female, she will choose which one she wants and it is often not the one in looks that we would want her to choose. Also these cats could be older than your young cat and see him as such. Female cats often go for the old tom cat of the neighborhood. This is natural for her to chase them away and even attack them. In reverse if she is free to roam, she herself will seek out the male in the area she wants. In the mating game, the male cat does not fight back with the female. He can fight with other males in competition for her, to impress her.

He's not in heat.and if they want a kitten adopt from an animal shelter or another organization there r so many unwanted cats and dogs.a good place to go threw if u live local is a place called The Purrfect companion u can look them up online.(THEY HAVE CATS ONLY)all there cats and kittens live in a foster family no cages at all except when they are being transpoted to a place where they can adopt them out or u can send an email to the address to get information stephanie@thepurrfectcompanions.com good luck give them a forever home.

Why oh why do you feel the need to add to the over population of cats in the world.
Have you been to an animal shelter lately????
They are filled with cats and kittens, that someone just HAD TO HAVE and then decided they no longer wanted.
Please tell your friends and family if they want a cat or kitten to go to the local humane society or animal shelter and adopt one..
Thousands of cats are put to sleep every day in this country, please don't add to that.
Have your cat neutered, he'll be healthier and happier in the long run, he'll live longer and he won't start spraying everything in your house to mark his territory.

This may be like a 12 year old boy trying to seduce a 30 year old woman. The mighty Napolean just might be fumbling around and making the heated lady irritable.,.. so she's beating the crud out of him. She's probably hoping some old rauchy tomcat will come calling. Give young Napolean another year to refine his courting skills.

P l e a s e tell us you are a fiction writer working on your story! You can't possibly be naive enough to actually want to produce more kittens in the world, particularly when you are clueless as to how the reproduction process works.

First of all you have no business trying to produce kittens. If people want kittens point them to the humane society or the local pound. Millions of cats are put to sleep each year (kittens too) because there are not enough homes for them.
Second thing I would get your cat fixed, I can only imagine how your place smells with an unaltered male cat.
