we had been together for 5 years .and i decided that this year is the that he ll be purposing me .marry me.i was ready to marry him along time ago.we are just like other loving couple .he is such a good guy.he treat me as a women.he did take good care of me , never hurt me ,my father like him too,he had a good job too,both of us are 27yrs old.im a school teacher.i ve been asked him to marry me but he always give the same answer he is not ready.but why?i dont want to force him to marry me ,i want him to marry me as his heart want it too.please tell me what should i do.

You could say that you have given this a lot of consideration and have come to the conclusion that you can no longer go on sitting on the fence about this as you have been doing for so long and that you have decided to go on with your life. If and when he decides that he is ready for more, he can always look you up. You're still there? Fine! Should he fine you gone, engaged or married to another, that would be his loss as he had his chance again and again and again and never was ready enough to commit. Shame on him! You have a life to live to and if his agenda can never coïncide with yours, well, are you just going to sit there and put your life and desires on hold forever? Seven years was enough for my mom to have 5 kids. You gave this man five and what do you have? "I'm not ready!" I guess he must think that having the cow, he'd be crazy to buy the milk. Take that cow away from him for a change and watch him running back for it. The hundreds of cans of milk on all those store shelves just won't compare to what he's been drinking for the past five years. (If you get my drift?)

If he is not ready, there is nothing you can do to make him marry you. There has to be a reason he is not ready. It may be a mental thing (knowing of someone elses bad experience) or maybe he is just not ready to marry YOU. You can either give him more time or a kiss goodbye.
