And especially think about it laying down before falling asleep?

I noticed that I got alot of answers that assumed that I don't believe in God, or go to church. I do!
I was just wondering if many of us think about death very often, negative and positive. Thank you! Sorry if I lead the question wrong!

I have been thinking about this lately way too much myself lately as well, it could be my age, and yet, I am healthy and no where near ready to go anywhere. I think allot of it is my fear of dying and going UN prepared. I don't think anyone is really prepared to die, I am going to talk to a priest and see if he can help. I do believe the strong ones are the children that have cancer and Leukemia, so how dare us even think of this when yhese young brave children know what their fate is everyday. So we all need to get our plans in order and get things in writing so our family or loved ones know what to do when our time comes, it could be an accident or anything. I klnew folks that died very young, and our soldiers, oh I couldn't imagine what they think on a daily basis. So we poop or get off the stool and start thinking about vacation and living. I feel better already! God Bless!

Actually yes, especially since bush took office. I never really thought about the world ending anytime soon until events i forseen started taking place, like i always said before bushs win in 2000, the first time i saw him, i said if he gets in were going to go to war. I didnt know anything about him, it was a bad feeling, and ive been having bad feelings about the world ever since then, and they seem to all come true. So...I just hope we all survive this mess and things turn for the better. Im tired of being depressed also. I guess just try to think about something else when that feeling comes around.

Not in particular, the only time i ever really think about death is when somebody i care for passes, but in my career it is a common thing to have happen, and i find that i tend not think of death all that much at all.

is there a reason why you are? do you have some kind of fascination or anxiety in regards to death....? If so it might be advisable to seek professional advice.

It is perfectly normal to think about death and dying. It has nothing to do with God or going to church. If you start having thoughts about wanting to hurt yourself, or wanting to take your own life, then you need to get some help. But just thinking about it, wondering what it would feel like, or where you go after you die, is absolutely normal.

Jami,
I used to when I was having bad panic and anxiety attacks.
I was afraid that I was going to die, from some of the things I was feeling !
Have you ever seen a doctor about this ? You might be having anxiety attacks. Only a trained professional can help you hon !
Good Luck and God Bless !

I think we all are faced with thoughts of when we will die. I do ponder it often with faith that there is an afterlife. For that reason, I try to live a good life and follow Christian rules although I know I have slipped occasionally, so at those times, I do repent.

If you believe in something after life that helps. Maybe if you went to church or joined a club.

Read about various subjects. Read a book by Sylvia Browne. She will give you a new outlook on life.
