Without being judgemental towards anyone...
I think that it is too easy to fall out of practice in the world we live in today. However, I have heard people say that they want and are trying to change. If you know of someone personally, ask them what you can do to help.

True Christians will practice it, live it, sleep with it eat with it, walk with it, & they will be the same away from church as they are in church, If they don't do these, then they are make-believers. Or just some kind of Denominational member. I have always said, If I can Not live it, I will not fake it or try to be something I can't live, I am the same out of church as I am in Church. Because I am the only bible some people will ever read.

You are right.
For some I think that they are only Christians if it works for them. As long as Christianity doesn't get in the way of their life style of the things they want to do. This is because they are Christians in name only.
On the other hand, it could be that they are a work in progress. When we become Christians, it takes time to get rid of the old ways, to get rid of the sin. It's a process not a magic trick.
For example, I was pro-choice for years. I would argue the position and defend a woman's right to an abortion and all the time call myself a Christian. It took time for me to understand and come to realize that abortion was murder and the taking of a defenseless life. I am now pro-life. This revelation took time.
All true Christians are on a path, they are in different places on that path. Some get stuck and some keep moving.

Hi DAWG,
I truly believe that they are not really studying the scriptures as they should be doing. It is imperative that we read, study, and obey GOD's WORD to continue to grow as Christians otherwise we are as the infants are continuing to need milk instead of meat for food. There are those who attend a Sinday service and do nothing else and believe that this is enough to learn what they must. We must WANT to GROW in CHRIST as the early Christians did. Going from house to house, reading, studying, and encouraging one another in HIS LOVE daily. Have a great day!
Thanks 4 listening,
Eds

They fool themselves, with the help of Satan, into believing they are saved and righteous. They lack understanding of what God expects from us and what being a Christian really means. Just because you say you are doesn't make it true. Seek and you will find. On the other hand, keep in mind, to be a Christian does not make you sinless. The only one sinless on earth was Jesus Christ himself.

because "the world is lying in the power of the wicked one" says the bible. Satan misleads people and one of his tactics is false religion. he is using false religion to make it hard for people to distinguish truth from falsehood. you better be careful and if you have your own bible, you better read it yourself. many people pretend to be christians because some felt that its an "in" thing to be part of a certain religion but some are imperfect (like me and you) and let themselves be mislead by Satan....
