I HAVE DOWNLOAD A MOVIE BY RAPIDSHARE ITS FIRST PART IS PLAYING BUT OTHER 4 PARTS R NOT PLAYING .IT IS GIVING ERROR THAT IT CAN NOT PLAYED

.rar is extension of compressed file by Win Rar. With win rar you extract it in any folder specially created by you. Their you will get your file & that will play on your pc. You must have forgotten to check the size of first file. It should be of your download size. If you get 2 3 rar file for one aplication or movie you have to extract only the first file only. Others will not play on any device.

Not sure your meaning. It has many part like movie.rar, movie.r00, movie.r01................. Extract them and (make sure you put all the file together) a movie show up. Check the extension such as .wav .rmvb .avi .mp4 .m4v
.rmvb can only play in real player
.avi or .divx can only play after you install Divx
.mp4 and .m4v is play in quicktime

It is a compressed file in rar format. Use 7zip to uncompress it, then you will be able to play it

try with some software is for repairing the .rar file may be it has a problem with that file

Try downloading VLC media player .... search it in google
