I've noticed that when people answer questions here they often say "because of some religions" when it is irrelavent and or inaccurate. Either your 100% sure or you acknowledge that your not 100% sure or you just don't say it at all. (this is not everbody)

Today theologians and Bible scholars are saying that there has never been a time in history since the beginning of the church when there was so much ignorance of the Bible. In the last generation Christians seem to think that doctrine and theology are not important but only that you love Jesus. This lack of Bible knowledge has made many Christians very immature in their faith and caused a great deal of division within the church. The sad part of the whole thing is that most Christians really believe they know a great deal about God and his purposes. I think it manifests itself here in places like YA.

hi D, i be attentive to what you're speaking approximately and that i too had the comparable question while i replace into having my Bible study lower back in the early ninety's. while this replace into occurring the Bible scholars(as they have been observed as lower back then) have been merely commencing as much as comprehend what the Bible rather taught. in case you look at some old pictures of our homes from the 50's even, there have been crosses on the homes till the main superb wording got here out that it replace right into a stake or a tree that Christ died on, no longer the bypass. This has to do with the mild getting brighter. In different words, be attentive to-how the Scriptures. no longer all Scriptures are basic to comprehend because of the fact the e book of Rev proves. Any of Jehovah's Witnesses immediately will inform you and use the Bible to lower back it up, that for the duration of elementary terms Jehovah is well-known with the day and time. i'm advantageous you be attentive to that even Jesus and the angels did no longer be attentive to that once he informed his disciples. some issues are nonetheless no longer time-commemorated even immediately and could pop out because of the fact the time gets nearer. As this guy that suggested might 21, 2011 replace into incorrect, so have been the Brothers on the time they suggested a date. all of us be attentive to greater effective and being human, discovered and function corrected the errors & took the counsel that replace into given. i will declare with finished honesty that no Witness will ever try this lower back.

Well I'm a lutheran and I don't know 100% of every thing about my religion so I don't think I'd purposely NOT say everything 100% accurate when answering questions on here.

Friend I will never answer a question unless I am 100% sure, sometimes, I may have 3 different questions on my mind, & I mis-spell a word. But when it comes to giving an answer, I am 100% sure, because I know every demonic spirit will challenge me on my answer, & I am held accountable before God for what I say.

You'd have to list some examples. It could easily turn out that what you think are "innaccurate statements" are simply matters of opinon. This is especially true of religious subjects.

If you disagree with a particular biblical interpretation, for example, I'm not giving that one to you. Some people think it's "accurate" that Noah really built his Ark.

GOOD QUESTION! I'm sick of (some) people doing that on here!

And people who are opposed to a particular belief system misquoting the Bible / Torah / Koran (etc) to make the people who hold those particular beliefs sound like psychos.

If you don't agree with a particular religion, then agree to disagree! You don't have to go around making them sound stupid - it just makes YOU look nasty!

Madam, 99.99% people in the world do not study or try to understand their own religion completely. They have half knowledge and that is why you see wrong info about their own religion.

You will never see a scholar writing here in Yahoo Answers.

I cannot speak for everyone, but I would guess its because everyone has a different understanding of thier religion or someone else's. Some might just be trying to be politically correct.

That's how misinformation about any subject(religion or otherwise) gets spread. People say things without really knowing or bothering to find out if its true and people listen and believe without really knowing or bothering to find out if its true. Read people....its a good thing.

I believe that the answers represent opinions which will be inherently flavoured to reflect the participants views, accuracy becomes somewhat secondary.
