Being a professional maid, I've found the quickest way is when they have two side by side sinks. Fill the first one with hot soapy water, put the dishes in to soak while you go clean up something else for around 10 minutes, then return and rinse each one off under the running tap on the other side of the sink. Scrub if necessary.

If they have only a single sink, soak for 10 minutes as before, but then reach under and drain out the hot water. Rinse under the tap scrubbing if necessary.

The easiest way though is the dishwasher!

My way I feel is both economical and much more sanitary than your normal way by squirting some in a sink full of water, what I do is squirt some on my sponge and add just a very tiny amount of water enough to get the dishwashing liquid to lather then I wash each dish this way and rinse, I also add a little vinegar to my sponge to disinfect the dishes, Vinegar is known to be the best dinsinfectant in the world. Good Luck !

Dishwasher. But before that, I used a double sink, one with hot soapy water in it, the other (right to left) with hot rinse water in it, and a drying rack at the end.

I let them soak in warm soapy water and I wash them. I then load them into the dishwasher where they can be cleaned with ultra hot water.

let the dog lick them clean, then Dishwater!!!!!!!!!. But in the case of no dishwater then you could alway just reuse after the dog has licked them clean. Lol. no really a quick rinse to wash off any leftovers then warm soapy water a drip dry on the sink.
