A couple of hours ago my i Pod froze completely. it doesn't respond to anyhting i do... all i tried to do was skip it on a track and it froze. I don't know if it's a corruppted file or what. How can I get it to work again. Is there anyone who knows what i should do or who i should call (don't say ghostbusters)

Okay i have a 30gb iPod and I usually just press and hold the play button. Press and hold the menu and the center button (try this for long periods, switching between the two and generally just pressing lots of buttons, plugging it into a pc, or several different ones if you can, charging it. These are the many ways i have gotten mine working again, all the time doing this switch hold on and off.... this tends to work! Good luck!

The solution differs from model to mode. I think this works for newer iPods. Copied this for you:
Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
There are some good solutions on the link I added. Good luck. I know it can be frustrating to have your IPod freeze up on you like that.

Hold the middle button and the play button for like 10 seconds together and it should reset. It's happened to me twice before, and holding these buttons works a charm.

Take the battery out? Then switch back on?
