A lot of my friends dont have kids but all they seem to do is work and stay at home. Is it their bodies kicking into parenthood and home life?

They don't...I still go out and I'm 30! (although clubbing ain't my thing anymore...to many drunken idiots!)
I still go out and have a laugh with the girls!
but my priorities have changed..they do when you have kids!

I was thinking the same. My bloke who was 27 this year has got all boring and he sits there on the xbox all day. We used to go out all the time clubbing and going for meals etc but now he wants to stay in. im 25 and dont feel like staying in i want to go out while im still young. i know we've got 2 kids but theres babysitters. theres no excuses exept the fact that you do get boring at 27 upwards well men do anyway..

Because values change. If you advance in your career, you have so many business events and dinners that staying in becomes a luxury.

Or you might appreciate some quality time with your partner, friends or kids more than going out.

You may develop other hobbies and spent more time learning a new language, playing golf or in your gentleman's club.

Or it may simply become boring to do the same old same old all the time.

many people begin to marry at age 25 for the women.many people stop going out at age 27 and above is because they feel they have to make a future or learn to be responsible because they are leading to adulthood.

I am 41 and well and truly still party. I intend to go to my grave worn out yelling yipee with a glass of champagne in my hand. . Its also much more fun being disgraceful in your forties because your parents cease to get the blame. Guess they just got to try the adult life to see if it suits. Not everyone grows up.Make like Peter Pan........

Why stop going out at 27 ? Make no sense to me

Going out is overrated. It's smoky and noisy and you can't talk to people and drinking is not all it's cracked up to be. It's also expensive, I went out last week and paid £1.50 to put my coat in a cloakroom. Of course It depends on the person.

I havn't been out much since i was 25,i feel old and frumpy compared to the youngsters in their skimpy outfits. Sadly i'd rather stay in the warmth with my pj's and cup of tea.
