its sooo faint it feels like a trick of the eye but i dont know if it is am i pregnant or not?

call the store and say you're going to bring it in to return it and maybe they will just offer you a new one so they dont have to touch it ...

I took two hpt a few days apart and the lines on them were so faint it seemed like a trick of the eye but I did another test at the family planning clinic a week later and it was really strong. I would say that its very likely you are pregnant and go to family planning next week and get another test done.

A faint line does mean you are pregnant, but a faint line should still be clearly visable. If you look at an un-used pregnancy test very closely, then it is possible to see a line!!
Wait a day or so and test again. That will give you a better idea.

It could be that your testing too early. But you could be pregnant. I must of took a million pregnancy tests cause all the lines were coming out so faint you could hardly see it so after all those tests i went and got the digital one that reads pregnant or not pregnant and sure enough it said pregnant. Also though, it could be just a bad test, i would try a different one. Good luck!

Sometimes your hormones are not strong enough to form a bold line but that just might mean your in the early days. Wait a few days and do another test yo will probably find the blue line is alot stronger and a definate positive. Good luck xx

You have to have hCG in your urine to give any type of reading so, I would say that you are pregnant. How early have you tested? It could just be that it is very on so the hormone levels are pretty low. Congratulations if you are!! I'm thinking of doing a pregnancy test but my period isn't due for another week. Do you think it's too early?

congratulations hun you are pregnant, if there is a line there then you are, that is what i was told, with my second son i had a faint line and i was told that it was because i found out quite early. if you still dont think that it was a good enough pos test then do another to make sure.

you can wait 2 or 3 more days and retake it, or go to the doctor and get a blood test. Also make sure you take it with your first urine in the morning so that the Hcg has built up in your system. I would wait a few more days and then take again. you should have a more clear result but if you really NEED to know then go get a blood test, blood shows up quicker then the urine tests anyways.

Any hint of a line is a possitive reading, but since it is so faint you should take another test just to be sure, and take it first thing in the morning with your first urination.

Give it another couple of days and do another - sometimes the hcg levels can be very dilute in urine so give it 48 hrs and use your first pee of the day. Had similar probs confirming with my third but actually found cheaper generic test from pharmacist was better than the branded ones - and cheaper x

usually any hint of line means your pregnant, and it gets darker the farther along you are- either it's just really early into it, or if you kept the test after 10 minutes, and then the line appeared, it's a false read. If you are.. Congrats!! try taking another test in a couple days to be sure! â¥
