Had advice on engine burning litle bit of oil but no blue smoke but can this be used valvoline high mileage

Whatever kind of oil you put in your vehicle should have the API starburst symbol on the side of the bottle. That symbol represents that the oil meets standards for performance. Motor oil on the market that does not have the symbol could be anything.
