when i hold him and my baby's sleeping and not moving, he's fine though! no tears or tantrums. he does the same if me or his mum hold another baby. our friend has just had her baby (so cute, only a week old) and he'll throw a paddy! same with his Nana, just worried that when she's born it'll carry on and she'll be sleep in my arms and he'll wake her or vice versa. he does seem to be a very jealous little boy, but i think he's just used to being the only baby in the family, and now its changing he doesn't like it!!

10 month old babies have no concept of jealousy. However, they can sense something different. Not only can he see your round belly but he can feel your little one kick. It is a weird concept for him. Once the baby is here he probably isn't going to realize that your belly is no longer huge and that you now are carrying other stuff around. He will be back in your lap like he did when he was 6 months old. As for your little one in you, the 10 month old will want to touch in amazement at this little one. He will probably try to hold and kiss and play with him/her. I wouldn't be concerned, your 10 month old will adjust quickly and will accept your new little bundle of joy!

Good luck!

if he is the first baby(cousin) for a long time and has been getting all the attention,he will be jealous,if another baby comes along and all attention is on baby hes going to feel left out, then you say your having one too how do you think he's feeling
just make sure he still gets lots of attention and include him in the activies surrounding baby to help make him feel special
