That person who snore's is one of like 6 million people in the country that has a condition called Obstructive Sleep Apnea, which can be fatal.
It is a condition that can be treated with the use of a CPAP machine which i might add is a machine that pumps air into the airway to keep it open so the person can breath normally.
I suggest you talk to this person and have them see a doctor and undergo a sleep study (overnight stay in a hospital room hooked up to sensors to measure the condition level). Once it is in fact determined what level of sleep apnea it is the machine can be given to the person with the proper air-flow settings and if used will put an end to that never ending noise from the snoring. The person will also see immediate signs of a more restful sleep and will be much more productive in their daily lives.

Why are people so sadiistic?! If the snorer could stop, he would. Nobody goes to bed at night and thinks, "Aha, I'll snore tonight and make everybody else in the house lose sleep -- what fun"! And since snoring takes place during mouth breathing, plugging the nostrils will make it worse.

If snoring is really loud and disruptive, chances are good that it is caused by a condition called sleep apnea, which MUST be taken seriously. Untreated sleep apnea not only stresses both the snorer and everyone else in the house who can't get a good night's sleep, it can also lead to heart malfunction and death!

Apnea is easily treated with the use of a night-breathing aid called a CPAP. You must see a sleep doctor before you can get one, as they have to be individually adjusted, but most insurance covers the cost. CPAP eliminates snoring 100% and keeps the heart from being damaged. Surgery is very rarely used to treat apnea, as the success rate is not that good.

Please ask your partner's doctor to refer him to a sleep doctor or sleep clinic ASAP. These facilities often have a long waiting list, and procrastinating can really damage his health. Do it right away.

Put some oil or cream in the nose and you will fill the difference.
As when air goes in side the nose, the oil or the cream you put in the nose will stop any noise which is snore, with the flow of air in the nose.

Be serious and try it tonight, you will think of me.

May be you can't think as there will be no snoring and you will get sleep quickly.

I, too sleep with a chain saw- I mean somebody who snores. There isn't a lot you can do, just things you can try to help. First, try to reposition them on their side. Try changing the pillow, to a different style or material. And then, get a pair of the foam earplugs for yourself. They are cheap, you don't really notice them, and they dampen the noise enough to allow you to sleep through most of the racket, most of the time.
