Could it be you're trying to play a DVD on a CD drive?

Poke a straightened paper clip in the tiny hole on the drive to release it.

And capital letters are usually taken as SHOUTING, very annoying.

Well for starters I would advise you to TURN YOUR CAPS LOCK OFF.

Now then have you considered the emergency release mech? Another poster has explained how to do this with a paperclip.

It could be you need to update your drivers, get a computer professional to do this.

Failing that take it to PCWorld, get ripped off with the cost of the repair and buy a new computer and dont stick pirated or copied disks in there next time.

Oh and turn the caps lock off.

Most drives have an emergency open hole. You can straighten a paper clip and carefully insert it till the drive opens. you shouldn't have to push very hard on a laptop. Desktops require a more aggressive push.

One of two things I think. Either the laser in the drive is dirty and needs a GENTLE clean or your drive doesn't read the type of disk you've put in. i.e. A DVD disk wont play in a CD drive
