The Wagner card is not the rarest by any means, just the most publicized. Even in it's own set (T206, 1909-1911) it is not as rare as Eddie Plank's card or the Sherwood Magee card (misspelled as Magie). Those two are often the second-and third-most expensive cards if they ever show up for sale. Other superstars in the baseball card world: 1933 Goudey Napoleon Lajoie and many very rare but under publicized 19th century cards that can fetch five figures each.

There are three different cards you could choose from. The 1933 Goudey Lou Gehrig, the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle, or the 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle, one of the most counterfeited card in the business.

The 1952 topps mickey mantle is worth quite a bit if it is in good condition.
