I own a shop, and work on vehicles all the time. To answer your question, no they are not the same belts. The drive belt is the belt you can see, and it drives things such as the alternator, water pump, power steering, and air conditioner, hint (drive belt). The Cam belt/Timing belt only drives the cam/cams, and usually has no other functions. It is hidden inside a cover behind the drive belt for the accessories. The drive belt is sometimes called the serpentine belt if it is that type of set up.

The cambelt drives the camshaft(s) which in turn operates the valves. It is a toothed belt, so that it cannot slip, as the valves need to be kept synchronised with the crankshaft.
The water pump is driven off the cambelt in some cars.
The drive belt will drive the engine's accessories (alternator, power steering pump, air conditioning pump, sometimes the cooling fan) and is not toothed (some slip may occasionally occur), but is trapezoidal in section, and drive is transmitted by the edge faces rather than the inside face.

Not usually; the cambelt drives the camshaft, what's usually called the drive belt is what we old-timers used to call the fanbelt and drives the alternator, water-pump, power steering pump etc. Cambelt is a broad belt usually under a cover, while t'other is a thinner one visible at the front of the engine & running around various pulleys.

Best thing to do ask main dealer but i am 99% sure that a drive belt does the fan etc .and the cam belt is a main belt which does the cam shaft and should be changed every 50-60.000 miles and put in you service manual if you have only just got the car check when it was last done good luck with your car

I don't think so but it is nearly spelt the same. It is belt and then belt preceded by cam as far as i can see
