the best time to take a test is first thing in the morning. it is possible that if you took it in the evening the night before that it didn't pick the hormone up, but in the morning it did.

edit:

read the question wrong, thought you were saying you took two different tests. No it is not possible if it is the same test you are re-reading in the am.

You wasn't real clear did you take two tests. Or did you check the first test and not throw it away. If you kept the test and over night the result changed. That's not a real result. The result that you got in the required time that was said in the instructions in the real result. When in doubt take another test.

That is called an evaporation line meaning it is not a positive. You should not read a test after 10 minutes anything after that is not an accurate or true result.
If it is a gray or an endent line that is an evap line.

Yep thats why it says to read the results in a certain time frame.

yes..it happens all the time!
go to a lab ask them for a betaHCG test ..its a blood test and the value will dtermine if you are preggers or not.
