Hi
I had a missed misscarriage at 11 weeks (baby dies at 6 weeks) and was told that it would be fine to start trying right away, tho better to wait for 2-3 proper periods first (more for dating the pregnancy then anything else).
As it happens my body was totally screwed up for 4 months after the misscarriage so it took a while to conceive again.
Anyway, I now have a happy healthy 2 year old to show for it! Proves it is possible.
I was like you, constantly expecting to lose the baby, going toilet all the time checking for blood in my knickers...it does get easier as the pregnancy goes on, but I will still never forget the little angel I lost.
Good luck {{{hugs}}}

First of all, I have had a successful pregnancy after miscarriage and you can't worry about what can go wrong or you will make something go wrong. Your DR. should have told you to use protection for at least 6 weeks after miscarriage to let your uterus heal. You may have gotten pregnant too early and this alone could cause a miscarriage. I would go to the Dr. now. Good luck.

Don't take any meds if you think you might be pregnant. I have never had a miscarriage but I have been pregnant and successfully carried my son to full term. I do know that you don't take Ibuprofen or sudafed while pregnant and any over the counter meds should be okayed by a doctor.

i lost my baby at 5 weeks aswell 8 weeks ago, i was due my period today, i done a test yesterday and it was positive, i have been taking really strong pain killers for the past two weeks so im worried to, i asked the same question yesterday and a lady told me that the placenta has not formed yet so its unlikely that the ibuprofen has come in contact with the baby.

I had a misscariage also at 5 weeks then 8 weeks later I was pregnant again.
It is an awful feeling of worry that you get but just think positive. I went on to have a beautiful 10lbs 8oz boy 19 mths ago.

You could have been carrying twins and there could still be a baby there, you should get your doc to send you for a scan especially if the pregnancy test is still positive.
