a good slideshow program is Microsoft Powerpoint, you can put your own music on it, the help folder would help better, but if i remember correctly you go to Insert ---> Movies and Sounds----> sound from file
there are setting to make it work for certain slides
there is another good program called Nero Vision Express which is a picture slideshow program thatll make VCDs and DVD with pictures and movies. and you can add music and sound. its very easy to use, add text and change the font too

Ya....U can use "Microsoft Power Point" For makin slide show projects and u can also add music in it , u can also add videos...
Or u can use "macromedia Flash" for making the same....
in Flash u jst open the help file read the instructions from their and try to make ur slideshow....its very easy..

MS Power Point, although many Microsoft products may not be liked, Power Point is a very good tool for building slide-shows.
And yes, is self-explanatory.Just use the wizard.

"Microsoft Power Point" ... if you click on things to see how they work it can be self explainitory, if not ask more Q's on Y!Answers lol ;-)
(remember to explore the menu's like up top where it says "file" and "tools" and stuff ... click around ...)
