I have had a pain in my left side for a week, and today it started hurting on the right side. It hurts to move, to turn my steering wheel sharply, everything is aggravating it. I have been a smoker for 8 yrs. Could it be my lungs? I'm only 26, I don't want to die! Could it just be simply that I have pulled a muscle or two and just need to give it a few days?

You sound like you have injured yourself
go to a Dr
& why not give up the smokes
I smoked for years & gave up last year with patches
& I even stayed on them longer than the 3 months because the chemist said that was fine to do that
& now I'm free of them
even if the thought pops into my head I just think well I dont smoke anymore
I have save so much money
I have been buying clothes etc
good luck with your injury

ok it incredibly is important. does it harm once you breath? or is the a similar quantity of soreness in any respect circumstances? If it hurts greater once you breath, its in all risk a lung concern. I certainly have had a hollow in my lung interior the previous (spontaneous nuemothorax) as a results of me physique style. i'm tall and skinny, and this will develop the prospect of having this subject. If it hurts greater once you breath in, then it incredibly is in all risk nuemothorax and you will desire to be certain a physician immediatly. that isn't existence threatening, yet you have a pocket of air between your lung and chest hollow area that may develop in soreness, and save the lung from inflating each and each of ways. make beneficial that as quickly as you notice the physician, to look for nuemothorax because of the fact maximum docs do no longer see it while they take an X-ray except they comprehend what to look for. no rely if it incredibly is a small cave in, they'll maximum probable positioned you on oxygen and permit it heal by ability of itself. If its better than 15%, then... it get greater complicated. the two way you're able to desire to be certain a physician!

It could be breast cancer, but I hope not. Probably you just pulled a muscle. But if you still have the problem in a couple of days, you might want to get it checked out

You need to see a doctor immediately...nothing to fool around with...it could be a stroke, pluresy (this stuff moves from side to side...I have had it ), most anything.
Get to a doctor NOW! or the closest emergency room....

Sounds more like a pulled muscle, but you should go to your doc and get checked, it amazes me though as scared as you sound you continue to smoke, I have recently lost my father to cancer through smoking, try and quit while you are still young and get your health back.
