I'll second Henry's Hunan in the FiDi for a terrific quick business lunch if you love good spicy Hunan cuisine as much as I do - but their hours are very limited, and they are usually not open for dinner. Sometimes they will just randomly close on weekdays too - I have never figured out their schedule.
R&G is best for groups - really delicious banquet menus, very reasonably priced. Ditto for the Far East Cafe. My Chinese friends go to both of these places in Chinatown for family and business group events all the time.
But for dim sum on Sunday mornings, nothing compares with Ton Kiang out in the Richmond District. Get there early, or you will wait for a table for a very very long time!

So many types of Chinese food it is difficult to say just one.
R&G Lounge has good Cantonese food.
I personally like Hunan and Sechwan food [spicey] my favorites for these are:
Henry's Hunan especially the Henry's Special [shrimp, chicken and scallops] Diana's Meat Pie is also very yummy.
Tai Chi on Polk at Broadway has the best General's Tso's Chicken just the right combo of sweet, hot and garlic. They also do really good shrimp won ton soup and sizzling beef and scallops.
Yank Sing does great dim sum, but is very expensive.
