Its called Beauty Which is a Rose Will Die... Its only a small price to pay

Beauty so unique and rare
It will last a life
On borrowed time
But all beauty dies

To Compare a rose
To Beauty that is love
Would last a long a long sweet minute
But all beauty dies

Beauty stays today
But leaves tomorrow
To wish it to stay Tempts us
But then beauty flies away

A rose that lives today
Dies tomorrow
A flower which smiles here
Will soon Frown and be gone

To plead for it to stay
Is but a small price to pay
For something which is only for a while
Because all beauty dies

Constructive Criticism:

1. It gets a bit sing songy in the last stanza.

2. Try to eliminate any words that are unnecessary to get your point accross

3. Its hard to get the timing of the prose when its read and not spoken, but make sure that it has a defined and purposeful tempo not a steady tempo

Overall it is good, but with a little work, it will be great.

The imagery is old and rehashed. sounds like pretty much any preteen angst poetry.

Here's my version:

Love and Beauty in the Fridge.

You face is like white milk - supple and good for the soul and body.
But I let it sit out too long without indulgance.
Forgot adding chocolate.
Forgot combining in coffee.
And now, your beauty is still white.
And my intention is contrite
But I must discard for it is spoiled. Distasteful, dangerous and hardening.
Maybe I won't even open the bottle so I can recycle - just throw it all away.
And hope the garbage men won't care.
