Our own internal life-force is sufficient to whatever task we may require; we have no need of stealing the life-force of another. As offerings to our deities, people may burn incense or candles, pour out libations, place sacred herbs or food in some outdoor spot, bury talismans or money..

I can understand if some people do, because that's there belief on how to handel things.
But the people that do sacrifices should see that all the times they have done so is, kill something.
In a way it's like duck-hutting. Whatever is good for the hutter, isn't good for the DUCK. lol
If you are thinking of sacrificing something, don't do it, it won't be cool.

Animal/human sacrifice is surely for some deities, who wants burning flesh, but I do not believe any deity wants burning flesh. But every deity will surely appraise loyalty. Therefore, seek and worship the Deity who demands only our loyalty! And the best way to express loyalty is to obey and obey and obey.
