It seemed to imply that the anomalies lead to parallel universes as well, with the same people but different situations.

The lady missing is apparently linked to their failure to kill the 2 baby animals from the future. They seem to be saying an anomaly was caused. Personally I am inclined to think that there would be a great deal more difference than just one person missing.
The next series will probably commence with them jumping thru the fading anomaly to finish the job - it seemed like the penny had dropped just before it finished.

Yeah there should have been more differences than just somebody missing. - Lecester was wearing the same suit.
I thought the ending was crap I understand that there needs to be a link to the next series but I think they have done the monster jumping through the time holes to death now but thats the main story line.

No not really the professor's wife obviously a complete and utter nasty bit of work not to mention selfish. Is jealous of his relationship with government agent and has gone back in time to make sure she did not exist.
I am looking forward to a new series but most likey have to wait a year as per usual.

It was confusing at first,but then realised that they needed a link for the next series,can't wait for the next series,I got hooked after two episodes.

i think its because He changed Something? OR The People That Died Needed to be alive for Claudia to be alive i got it a little but it probably leads to the Next season

I was watching it but I cant understand how anyone can walk through a time warp straight into the prehistoric era.

Its simple.....The past and the future are not static.....It depends on which beam of light you go through..Bit like a motorway.........choose a junction and see where it takes you and rejoin later.
