I believe it would be another liberal attempt to remove Almighty God from anything public here in the U.S. It's a disgrace that anyone would think of it. America has always been prosperous and strong. And I believe that is because, at one time, Americans were dedicated to the Lord, and He is the one we have all worshipped. Now that the liberals want to take the Lord out of everything and make everything secular, we will lose the many blessings of God. And that will certainly be this countries downfall. God help us.

Isn't it interesting that "God" DOESN'T appear once in the American constitution, yet it is so prominently displayed in the actions of the current as well as recent administrations and on the currency. On the flip side, the Canadian constitution DOES mention God yet you never see the prime-minister attend church on T.V. (although the current PM shows some leanings, but he's a one-off), no mention of God on our coins (We trust more in the Queen it seems), and secularism reigns supreme. So, please tell me what justification does the U.S.A. have to put that inscription on its bank notes?...Certainly it is not representative of the population in that country. Canada is more justified to put "In God We Trust" as He is mentioned in our constitution...but thankfully Canada is more in tune with the diversity of its people!

it will still be our national motto - on our money or not.
frankly, i've never understood the connection between god and money, anyway, and having "IN GOD WE TRUST " kinda confuses the two. some people believe that money is god. thats why i think it should not be on there - not because i dont believe in god - i do - but because god is sacred and holy while money is worldly and makes people cuckoo. they dont mix.
i cant believe some people are gonna make a big deal about this - like its a sign about how terrible the world is.

I think it's bullcrap. If it wasn't for God we wouldn't be here. To the people who doesn't want it on there than move to another country. I believe it is stupid for not allowing prayer in the classroom and trying to take the pledge of allience away. They wonder what is wrong with young kids now days.

I think it was a conspiracy between Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld to undermine the stability of the MilkyWay Galaxy and to illegally deport Martians back to Mars....

It makes no difference to me.
My faith is unaffected by what is written on the coin in my pocket.

Doesn't bother me at all. Separation of church and state. "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and give to the Lord what is the Lord's." Besides, it's just a coin for cryin' out loud...a piece of metal. It doesn't affect my religion (or lack thereof) at all.

It doesn't bother me one way or the other. I'm fine if the words are on there and I'm fine without them. It doesn't make a difference to me.
