do you have a anti-virus program?
Free Anti-virus software at avast.com (home edition)
they also have a virus cleaner program as well.

go to your control panel,
double click on Administrative Tools
double click on Services

in that window scroll down to the "Remote" services.

if your not networked there is no need for any of these to be started. this is one way to invite unwanted visitors unknowingly.
