I am in your situation.
I have spots and blackheads too.
First thing i would say is don't cover up with make up because that only clogs up your pores and makes the spots worse. I use Tea Tree face wash (morning and night) usually £4, Tee Tree cleanser (morning and night) usually £3 and you can get concealer for usually about £5 from most supermarkets and boots.
Hope this helps!

Sounds Like A Bad Case Of Hormones To Me, A Trip To The Dermatologist Is My Best Suggestion. My Second Best Is Drink Lots Of PLAIN,CLEAR Water. Cut Back On The Sweets (Including Sodas Even "Diet" Ones) Wash Your Face Every Morning And Every Evening With A GENTLE Soap. Use An Astringent Like Witch Hazel (Found At Drugstores) AVOID Make-Up (Foundation) And Get A LITTLE Sun Exposure (UV Rays Can Help Some Forms Of Acne) DON'T Squeeze,Vacuum,Poke, Scrub Or Otherwise Torture Your Skin. If These Fail, Try PROACTIVE Acne Treatment (www.proactive.com) But, Sometimes Only Time(And The End Of Puberty) Will Fix the Problem.

I have the same problem! I use Proactiv Solutions, but even that dries out my skin. But, I've seen a MAJOR change! I saw a picture of myself the other day before I used Proactiv and YiKES! Hahaa, I don't know about the blackheads.. maybe a blackhead strip? I used to use those.. I don't know. I wish I had perfect skin too, it's not fair. :(

You are what you eat. change your diet cut back on greasy foods and soda pops. Drink lots of water. Dont pick your face because of course that leads to scarring. If you cant go to a dermatologist who can recommend something specifically for your skin then maybe try proactive, they even sell the generic 3 step version at Walgreens. Make up just aggravates acne and troubled skin. at night make sure you wash your face with a good cleansing bar like nutrogena or some oxy wash. I get a pot of boiling water and let the steam open my pores so that it can get the impurities out.

To get rid of the blackheads, go to a beauty salon and get a deep cleansing facial which will extract all blackheads. Then use a good cleanser like dermalogica of if u need something stronger, use md formulations. Try using tea tree gel on your spots (u can get this from the chemist).

What has cleared my skin up is proactive, and st, ives apricrot scrub, so if you don't want to buy proactive, then get st, ives scrub and cleanser! Also, if makeup is making your acne get worse, then use bare minerals make-up or the new loreal powder make up! Believe me this stuff works, I used to have horrible sking until I got intrudeced to good cleansers, and makeup that is good for your skin! Good luck, hope I helped!

ooo, i have similar problems. but i go to my dermatologist, she prescribed me tazorac sorry i don't really know how to spell it. but its perfect for me. i've had acne and blackheads since 6th grade, and tried everything & i'm allergic to most stuff, like proactive my eye lids swelled and came all hot and sensitive. so i'm just so gad that 5 years after it started i finally went to the dermatologist.
i really hope you find what works for you.
oh i also used to use those blackhead removal patches you wait till it drys and peel them off. it hurts but i loved them! you might want to try that.

donot use creams! plain soap and water! i have never used creams and I have a flawless complection. Models do that as well. I also have a little trick my mom tought me, take a small dab of toothpaste and gently place it on the black heads. it dry's them out. Do this before you go to bed. You wake up wash your face with soap and water. And problem solved!

I suggest buying Clinique. They will give you advice when you go there for what products to use, and you can find them in "Sears" or "The Bay." I also recommend Almay's Clear Complexion cover-up. It helps remove oil.
