So recently i bought this really nice pale pink skirt at hollister for around 30 dollars. at first when i tried it on, it seemed to fit really nicely and perfectly. but when i got home and walked around in it, i realized that it would was a bit short. it wasnt exactly revealing or exposing, but i just feel really self conscious in it. i was thinking i could wear tights or stockings underneath so i wont feel like everyone's staring at my legs, but tights look really bad with the skirt. tell me what you think i should do :)! thank you for reading!!

Speaking, I'm sure, for a major portion of the American male population here---- wear the dang skirt !!! We need all the inspiration we can get !!!

I know you say tights look a bit ick with the skirt but try some skin-coloured tights or a light dusky cream colour. If you still don't think it looks good then take the skirt back and get it in a larger size. Even if it's a bit big around the waist you can have it taken in.

Wear hot shorts underneath or go to the store and get some pink fabric and sew a band of fabric around the top of the skirt

if you really love the skirt and don't want to return it then take it to a seamstress and buy some material, maybe if you'd like the seamstress can sew another layer under the skirt. that is if it'll go good with the style of the skirt.

to me there is nothing called short skirt it's always a bit long ;o). U wanted a short skirt so go on & put it on and make people in your area happy ;o)

there are short tights like lycra shorts. Get a pair and wear then under your skirt. You cant really see them and if something happens, no one will look up your skirt.

1. you could return it and get another size.
2.you could wear navy blue leggings or grey leggings(dark grey)
3.you could just wear it anyways

wear the skirt with tights
- black tights would be best
the tights mean youi can wear the skirt short

if you cant take it back, wear it on your bikini when going to the beach. It wont seem short when youre in the beach bec. everyone will be halfnaked there LOL. hope you live close to the beach ;)
