The French are now in their presidential election campaign. One of the candidates has a brother who is a secret agent and participated to the bombing of a boat in foreign territory, ordered by the French government. She herself, the now candidate, was then an advisor to the presidency.
Is it possible to continue decent diplomatic relationships, when you chose such a president? Is it not some sort of symbolic offence?

I take it you are talking about the Rainbow Warrior which was a very long time ago but you really cant blame his sister because she happens to be related to him.Look at all the people related to Osama and they arent all terrorists. One thing though the French government should have punished the guilty.

it is kind of a tough decision there. do we want to deal with a government full of spineless losers or former terrorists? plus, you have to question what the french really consider a terrorist. they never did get the definition of a dictator right and they cried for saddam's corpse.
