Actually I am 18 years old, and have to completely depend on myself for everything. I strive hard to make ends meet. But amidst taking a lot of loans and debts, I make sure that i do enjoy life to the fullest possible. In my case, its 'ambition' which is the driving force.

I was not privileged enough to be given a good financial start in life.got married for love at a young age and had 2 children by the time I was 20. My X was a serial adulterer who took great pleasure in making my life a misery, stayed for 18 years, found the courage to leave him and a year later fell madly in love and found I was pregnant after only 6 months. I didn't have time to plan just lived life as it came along. Couldn't follow a car ea as my children always came first. Sounds pretty sad dosen't it but you did ask.I have never had the luxury of thinking what life I would like, just got on with it.Not everyone thinks about finances some things hold more importance, for me my children have been the biggest part of my life , for them to know that I have loved them and done the best I could is reward enough.Age 54, could win the Lottery tomorrow but guess who would get the benefit?

Actually, Life has more meaning than just $$$$. I was born into a family that had alot of money, but as I got older, and saw how some people act that have alot of $$$$, made me get out of Dodge !! I was raised in Brentwood, and every time I get together with 'old friends' from the neighborhood, I wish I was Home. Being Happy with yourself, and your family is worth a multitude more than being well-to-do financially. Oh, I live comfortably, and have had alot of $$$$ in the bank for many years. Let my relatives have it after I'm gone, they might be able to carry it all when the Rapture happens !! God Bless Love and America !!

Because I made really bad financial decisions, like to give in to my ex sister in law every time she wanted something. Her threat was to stop her children from seeing my parents on the pretext that they weren't my brother's so they weren't interested in them.

The truth was that my parents adored those children and never made any distinction between them and my sister's four who lived three hundred miles away. It would have killed them not to see the bairns, so I gave in. She still owes me 2,000 pounds but I'm not likely to get it back. However, I made all her payments - after all, she was family, I'd get it back eventually, right?

In doing so, I got behind with mine, ended up getting a loan, then another, then another, then another, all for consolidation but it doesn't work out, it never works out as you want. Now, I'm struggling to make my monthly payments. I work all the hours I can, day and night. I sell on Ebay and consider everything I can think of to make a bit more money, as long as its legal.

Fortunately, there's only me and the cat. He never goes hungry and it doesn't matter if I do, I can afford to lose the odd pound or two. I don't usually go hungry but with this being a five week month I think I will. I can always eat at work.

I live under my mommy's roof, so struggling to put up with family seems quite difficult. At least I don't have to pay for anything.
