i text, but not to that extent. hopefully you have an unlimited plan. texting is fun, but don't get too obsessed!! calling someone can be way more fun, and more personal as well. phone companies triggered texts as being a quick way to mention something, not to have a conversation. but have fun with however you use your phone. happy texting!

Yes. But if its a big message, then i find its easier to just call, especially if there will be messages going back and forwards for a while.

lol - my ex bf discovered texting (he's 52 years old), and started texting me out of the blue. I played along at first, but since it was all new to him, every time I'd write "lol" or "btw" or "lmfao" or whatever, he'd text back, "wut duz that mean?"
By the time I spelled everything out for him, my thumbs hurt!
But it was nice to see an "old dog" try to learn a new trick!
Now I just call him, but he's a musician, and kinda deaf, so maybe we should just learn sign language?! LOL!

i hardly text anyone, used to, but all my friends have lives and babies and are too busy- so we call and just get straight to the point. the only person i text anymore is my brother because he insists on it, and to my bf just to say i love you every now and then when he's gone. â¥

I wish I could. I have Nextel. I can receive text messages, (which cost 15 cents each time to read), but I can not send any. crazy....

I would rather call...but I have one friend who refuses to use her phone for calls...so she texts me ALL THE TIME!...it gets annoying....esp. if I am driving...& then she sends me a text asking why I am ignoring her...then sends me another one asking if she has made me mad....good thing I have unlimited texts...she would run my bill up....OMG....
