Beauty so unique and rare
It will last a life
On borrowed time
But all beauty dies

the flower that smiles today
tomorrow dies
All that we wish to stay
tempts and then flies
What is this wold's delight
Lightning that mocks the night
brief even as bright
Virtue...how frail it is...
Friendship how rare
Love..how it sells poor bliss
for proud despair
But we.soon they fall
Survive their joys and all
Which ours we call
Beauty so unique and rare
It will last a life
On borrowed time
But all beauty dies

Wish it could last forever
Clinging with such tender care
Loving bonds a treasure
Knowing we're on borrowed time
Loosens not the ties
Time's quick passing such a crime
And thus all beauty dies
