My cycles run anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks, not predictable. This month the blood is all old brown blood. Anyone know why? And should I tell my Dr. or is it normal?

Brown blood is completely normal during a period but if it's abnormal for you, then you should get it checked from your doctor. Normally if one has brown discharge, you will also get painful cramps.
But see your doctor =) xx

Are you on any hormonal drugs (birth control etc.?)

I had this when I was on Depo-Provera. Obviously this is not what is causing it for you then since you are not taking anything. However I think it might be helpful to note that high progesterone (in form of Depo-Provera or naturally) can cause this (what I call) "almost" period. Check out www.soulcysters.com to read about PCOS. An irregular cycle is usually "cured" by conventional doctors with birth control pills. But I think it would be wise for you to look up what you can on the following topics, in order to attempt to understand the problem from your own perspective before even going to the doctor(but go to the doctor soon, just look up the info sooner):

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
Estrogen/Progesterone
(any birth control/hormones the doctor wants to put you on)
Black Cohosh for hormonal regulation
Herbal Hormone Regulation

your cycle has little to do with no matter in case you will get preggers or no longer. this is once you're ovulating which you would be able to desire to be sure. while you're fertile, it's going to ensue. having your era is merely your physique's way of cleansing domicile. once you're having your era, all this is occurring is your physique is laying off its uterine lining. for many women folk people, the uterus spends approximately 3 weeks of each and each month with in a state of readiness, merely waiting for a fertilized egg to implant. if it would not ensue, your physique says, "nicely, this is getting form of old, we could make some new stuff". in case you do not have you ever era on the 20-30 day cycle that different women people do, it does no longer mean there is something incorrect. this is rather particularly elementary. ask your checklist the thank you to be sure while your ovulating. it may ensue at any time of the month, even countless circumstances a month. surely save attempting, yet stop irritating lots approximately while or in case you will get a infant out of it.
