I think it kinda depends on where u live. I only pay 26.95 a month. I would do what joelius2 said. If you have a cell phone talk to your cell phone carrier...like I know verizion offers internet and I think sprint does to. Sometimes when you bundle things together it is cheaper. Like around where I am from you can get cable phone and internet for under a hundred bucks a month...but if you bought them separate then it is like 50 bucks each a month! I hope this helps!!

Hi speed internet is supplied by your internet service provider (ISP) or your local cable company, i.e., Adelphia, Roadrunner. Make sure that your laptop has an outlet on it that looks like a phone jack but is a little bit larger. Let's say that you are using your local cable company.
They well supply you with a modem, you will need to get a small length of CAT5 cable to connect from your modem to your laptop. or if your laptop is wireless capable, purchase a wireless router and set that up and you will be able to connect wirelessly.
Prices vary, I pay $41 a month for internet service. DSL is cheaper but the trade off is that the connection speed is a little slower. But it's still faster than dial up.

If you go with Virgin Media it starts from £25.00 per month, but you will have to buy your own wireless access point:

BT is offering up to 8mb* this is dependant on your phone line, some people can only get 1mb because of this, for £14.99 for 3 months then £22.99 thereafter: http://www.bt.com/broadband/bb_info.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0865791308.1174206720@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccckaddkhdfjgkicflgcefkdffndflk.0&s_cid=HP_TotalBB_Bulletlistlink&obsNoSee=Y&vStore=1128&obsPage=/index.jsp&obsType=LINK&obsOID=112066

If you have sky tv, they are doing an excellent package if you live in a sky boardband area: http://broadband.sky.com/

Me personally, I use Virgin/ntl. But that's just personally preference.

Hope this helps

around 60 bucks a month, but there are many variables. if you already have a cell phone its possible you can just add it to your existing plan for much less, same story with cable and or phone. try to take a thing you are already paying for and usually you can add high speed to it.
