if so, please explain your experiences and how u deal with them.

i have had times when my brain wakes up when im in bed, but none of my muscles can move! i try to scream or say something, but i can't! its so scary! and then i even have hallucinations and i know its not a nightmare or a bad dream, its a hallucination cuz my brain is wide awake and my eyes are open. i looked this up and hundreds of pages tell me its called "sleep paralysis". do any of u have this? what have your experiences been like? how do u deal with it?

well since you have looked it up then theres no need for me to explain it to you....I personally started experiencing it last year....It is real....and There are various ways to take care of it...I am on a medication right now that my doctor gave me. It works rather well.It is a very scary thing to go through hun and im sorry it happend. The many times it happend to me I believed someone was pulling my covers down and spreading my legs apart...I couldnt yell...couldnt get my husbands attention....Just take a visit with your doctor....He wont think your crazy in fact its a common thing that happens to a lot of people...The Singer Sheryl Crow (you might not know her) Struggles with it to this day.....he can sit down with you and figure something out....If it happens again before you can get to a doctor....just relax....its very scary but breath...and no that you'll be fine...you wont die....its just your body waking up before your mind does!

Good luck sweetie!

I used to get that alot when I was 11-16.. Thats when the witch is riding you.Thats what alot spanish people call it... Its an old saying.. You describe it exactly how it used to happen to me.. You can put a broom under your bed or sleep the opposite side of your bed or change your room around...And everytime you wake up from it look @ the watch to see if its not the time of the witching hour 3:00am.. Then maybe you have an ghost in your house... When this happens i use to try my hardest to SCREAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM and it goes away.. That sleep parasylis mumbo jumbo i dont think its true.. or you can put a glass of holy water @ the foot of your bed.. When this happens to me I don't remember my dream cuz i was soo freakin freaked out..But the other dreams that I remember is from talking to an old mexican lady..Never seen her since and im 18

I've done that. Only I know that I'm alseep and can't do anything about it! The crazy thing about it though is that once i am dreaming adn realize that it is a dream... It's like the dream gets put on pause... i can still see everything around me, just can't move, speak, nothing... it always scares me when it happens, but I always come around eventualy.

That has only happened to me twice. Personally I think caffeine may have been the culprit. I've had waking dreams and it's almost always because I had a red bull or coffee too soon before bed when I've been studying. It seems to have worked. I hope that helps :)

This could be a serious situation. I would get as much info from the Internet (check site below) AND your doctor as possible. It is best to educate yrself.

the only experience I had was when I knew I was dreaming.

usually, from what I hv read, it is due to a fear or anticipation of coming event or GUILT of a wrong doing against someone yr sub conscience knows was WRONG.

Perhaps you had a case of Bells Palsy, a type of temporary paralysis. Hope you find more information that helps you :)
