are there any games that you can put on the scale to compete against the halo games?

Gears of war is a fun game that may be better then halo2, but will be killed by halo 3. I guess it all depends on what you like and not

hmm. the Halo games are really good, but there are games that are AS good. In my opinion, Battlefield 2, maybe burnout revenge. but I've never stumbled across a BETTER Game.
